I bought a Wacom tablet and Corel Painter several years ago. I didn't really know how to use Painter, so the tablet and the software languished for almost a year. Then I took my first course on Betterphoto.com - Using Corel Painter - and I became an aficiando of painting photographs. I hope you enjoy my works as much I've enjoyed painting them.

One of my favorite pasttimes is to watch all the birds that come to the feeders that I've put up on my backyard deck. And, I have such a great time photographing them. I know they are not the tropical rain forest exotics, but they are so beautiful none-the-less. Nuthatches, chickadees, cardinals, jays, juncos, house finches, goldfinches, sparrows, tufted titmice, downy woodpeckers, red-bellied woodpeckers, red-winged blackbirds, starlings, carolina wrens . . . . . and the list keeps growing.

The anniversary of her passing was this summer (2 yrs ago) - June 24th, so I thought I'd share a few photos of her life.... Most of these photos are snapshots, and not many are taken by me, but they are very precious, nonetheless...
